POPPIN’ STYLES

POPPIN’ FOUNDATION

This class concentrates on building up the adequate basic and foundation for any individual looking to specialize in New Styles Hip Hop, Boogaloo, G Styles or even Animation. It provides you with the necessary tools to either freestyle or be a technical performer. The foundation class focuses on a lot of hitting and popping drills to ensure that each student is able to pop at every angle and on the beat accurately all the time. Apart from that, the class works on developing all the fundamental techniques such as isolation, dime stopping, basic hydraulics, waves, glides, footwork, and basic tutting.

BOOGALOO STYLE (BOOG STYLE)

This class focuses on the style made popular by the Electric Boogaloos in the early seventies. In this class, students will be taught the foundation moves and techniques laid down by the EB members, who established the Boogaloo Style as arguably, the most original and important of all Poppin’ styles. The foundation moves taught will include the following; twist-o-flex, neck-o-flex, master flex, boogaloo rolls, walk outs, snaking, cobra, Fresno/funky angles, funky footwork/crazy legs, old man style, floor work, strutting, sleepy style, toy man, filmore, shadow box ,Egyptian twist, romeo twist. This class is suited only for students who have completed a few weeks of foundation classes in Hip Hop and Popping.

ANIMATION & TRICKS

The Tricks and Animation class is a highly technical class with a lot of emphasis on the following: hydraulics, robotics and animatronics, animation, ticking, ticking waves, caterpillars, advanced isolation tricks, strobing, puppetry, advanced tutting, wave-roll combinations, glides and walks, blow ups, hat tricks, and so on. This class suitable for students who have completed a few weeks of Popping and Hip Hop Foundation classes.

    hello…. im looking to learn popping could i know the monthly fees and schedule ?? tq
